Karl Rove, I Love You

June 2004. A documentary on the life of the "unknown supporting actor" takes a surprising turn when the subject of that documentary, Dan Butler, becomes smitten by the idea of playing Karl Rove, President George W. Bush's notorious political advisor. Dan becomes hellbent on exposing Rove for who he truly is, and in the process, ensuring a John Kerry victory in that November's general election. As Dan gets deeper and deeper into his research for a one-man show about Rove, Dan actually falls in love with him.
